1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and alter the S1's behaviour.
When I tried the S1, it was able to identify our downstairs, which is home to linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. updated blog post was able to drive right up to walls without hitting them, and even managed to drive across thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, although it sometimes had trouble navigating down the stairs in one move. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on its flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or carpet.
The docking station on the S1 automatically empties its dust bin and refills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water prior to each mopping session. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1's water tank holds enough for about twelve cleaning sessions before needing to be emptied, though this can vary based on how often you use the mop.
The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the dirty tank to keep it from becoming blocked. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to keep them from getting clogged by dirt or dust. Overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially when compared to other combos which require more effort to maintain.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robot mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a great choice to meet your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum is rated at 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with a number of unique features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans around furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it, rather than simply moving a pad across the surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station as needed.
This robot combo is easy to install and use, and has a clear interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum which can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are also two water tanks which are automatically emptied or refilled. It comes with a variety of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily picks up most debris and even the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, although it could get stuck on small mats and rugs around my home (which you can reduce by defining virtual boundaries in the app). Mopping capabilities are excellent with a pair of spinning mop heads that lift and scrub the floor instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as required. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new flagship model of robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender on our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush will give you a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing fine and large debris from hard floors as well as carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently while avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping performance of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that extends to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and mop pads that run along baseboards.
